Bro. Jonathan Bryan & Family -

Missionaries to Mexico

In small town near Houston, Texas on August 13th 1987, 15 year old Jonathan Bryan realized his need for a Saviour and, by the grace of God, received Christ as his Lord. At only 17 years old, Brother Bryan heard the Lord's call for him to enter the ministry to preach His Gospel, became an Independent, fundamental, Bible-believing, soul-winning Baptist, and graduated from Heritage Baptist University in Indiana.

Bro. Bryan's wife, Laura, was raised in a Fundamental Baptist church in Akron, Ohio. Although she made a profession of salvation as a child, she still depended on her own works to maintain her salvation. Upon attending a camp meeting when she was 27, she became convicted of her personal need for salvation though Christ’s work on Calvary alone, and accepted Christ's free gift of salvation.

The Bryans arrived on the Mexican mission field in 2002, excited about winning the country's lost souls to the Lord. Since beginning their work, they have ordained and sent out preachers, and, since 2005, started two churches in the state of Zacatecas.

Additionally, the Bryans are the Directors of the Lighthouse Children's Home in Mexico, which offers homeless and abandoned children a Christian home environment, a sound education, and the opportunity to know a loving God and His Gospel. Further, the Bryans operate a distribution ministry, which has given away thousands of Bibles and tracts in the area.
